The Problem

Your App Is Ready,
But You Can't Launch

Google Play requires closed testing before production launch for new developer accounts. 12 testers must keep the app installed for 14 consecutive days before a production release can be requested. (Mutual Loop runs 17 days to ensure you meet it safely.)

Gathering 12 friends and keeping them engaged for two weeks is nearly impossible in practice. Paid services cost $15–$30 per app, and anonymous testers rarely complete the full period.

Realistically difficult to recruit 12 acquaintances
No response to tester recruitment posts on social media
Paid testers uninstalled the app right away
Failed closed testing on Google → had to restart
App finished for 6 months and still can't launch

Why Mutual Loop

How Is This Different from Other Services?

You're not paying for anonymous testers. You're helping fellow developers with the same goal.

Penalty Point System

Participants deposit points into escrow before joining a test. Non-cooperation during the project results in a point penalty, giving everyone a strong incentive to see it through.

'Developer Peers', Not Testers

Unlike anonymous tester services, every Mutual Loop participant is an indie developer trying to launch their own app. You get real, genuine feedback.

Free to Use

Mutual Loop is a mutual-test exchange system — practically free. Topping up points is optional, but we recommend the open + join structure.

Stop Free-riders!

Screenshot uploads verify that participants actually installed and tested each other's apps. Without completing verification, the project cannot start.

5-Stage Alim Workflow

Open → Recruiting → Verifying → Testing → Done. See exactly where your project stands in real time. Auto queue-matching when a tester drops out.

Project Babel Completed

Run your closed test with an overwhelming number of users. Communicate in the agreed project language until testing is complete.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly are the closed testing requirements?
Google Play requires a path of: Internal Testing → Closed Testing (Closed Beta) → Open Testing → Production. In closed testing, at least 12 testers must maintain the app installed for 14 consecutive days before a production release application is possible.
How does the point system work?
When you open a project, you deposit points into escrow. Participants earn points by testing the opener's app. Bonus points are credited on 17-day completion. Non-cooperation during the project incurs a penalty.
Is it really free?
Yes, fundamentally free. Test other developers' apps to earn points, then use those points to open your own project. If you want to move faster, you can top up points (paid), but it's entirely optional.
Is this only for Korean-language apps?
Not at all. Mutual Loop supports Korean, English, and Japanese, and indie Android developers from around the world participate. App language and developer nationality don't matter.
I have multiple Google accounts. Which one should I use to sign up?
Sign up with the Google account that has your app registered in Play Console. The auto-sync feature uses that account's permissions.
